Ohio State grad Cal Scruby drops new single with Chris Brown

Cal Scruby has been living the life most would only dream of. The former Ohio State university undergrad has recently established himself as one of the new emerging artist to break out in 2016. After relocating to Los Angeles after 24 years in Ohio, the now 26 years old emcee has signed with Riveting Ent., one of the most prominent management in the music industry to date. Under proper guidance, Cal Scruby was able to snag a feature from Chris Brown for his new debut single “Ain’t Shit Change”. A feature that must be applauded as most artist in the industry  are forced to work many years in order to get the opportunity to collaborate with an artist with the caliber of Chris Brown. Nonetheless we are super amped about the future of this Ohio native because this one is definitely a banger. A melodic beat with some catchy bars from Scruby will leave you wishing you were in back in Cali during these cold and bitter winter nights.

“White Men Can’t Jump?”

Let’s not forget our favorite component of the collaboration which is the visual. If you haven’t got the chance to see the early 90’s cult classic “White Men Can’t Jump”, stop what your doing and go find it. Cal and Chris favor a similar theme that Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes used in the movie. Forward snap back, high shorts and compressions will visually take you back to a more simpler time on the famous basketball courts of Venice Beach. Go support his new album on iTunes and make sure to check out the video below. Its fire!
